An APK is an Android installation file; it cannot be installed directly on an iPhone. Start on the page for the app you want, check its available details and use Download Now when the button is available.

1. Finish and find the APK

Tap Download Now and wait for the APK download to finish. Open the completed file from your browser’s downloads list or Android file manager. If it is missing, check that list and the download status before starting another copy.

A partial download is not ready to install. Make room for both the APK and the installed app. Compare the app name and available file details with the entry you chose; stop if you receive an unexpected file.

2. Review installation access and permissions

Android may ask for permission for the browser or file manager to install apps. If you proceed, grant access only to that app and turn it off after installation. Settings names vary by phone; the option is commonly called Install unknown apps.

Keep device protection enabled and read any warning. Do not switch protection off to force a blocked installation. Review permission requests against what a visible feature needs, especially access to messages, contacts or accessibility controls.

3. Prepare before replacing an installed app

Keep your sign-in and recovery method available, and save important local progress using the app’s backup or account options where offered. An update must belong to the same app: a matching display name alone does not establish a matching Android package and signing identity.

If Android reports a package or installation conflict, confirm the file with the app provider before removing a working installation. Uninstalling can erase local data and does not necessarily close an online account.

If installation does not finish

Check whether the file finished downloading, whether the phone has enough free space and whether it meets the release’s Android requirements. Keep the exact error message if the file is rejected; repeated retries do not resolve an identity or compatibility mismatch.

Use Contact for a broken website download button and include the page address and error text. Use the app’s own support route for installation compatibility, login recovery or an issue inside the installed app.
